Milind Deora

Milind was born and brought up in Mumbai. He got his B.A. from Boston University in Business and Political Science. On returning from his studies abroad, he founded SPARSH, a social initiative which aims at educating students in computer and IT proficiency. The programme has helped over one lac students and is now being replicated in many other parts of the country.
Milind was elected to the Indian Parliament in the 2004 general elections from the prestigious South Mumbai constituency at the age of 27, making him one of the youngest MPs ever.
